“Angels & Demons” by Dan Brown

I just recently started reading Angels & Demons by The Davinci Code author, Dan Brown. I have yet to finish it but if I am excited about a book, I want to share it with the world!

I had heard wonderful things about it and because of the movie, I wanted to read it. So when I was able to check it out from the local library, I was excited. I knew that it would be hard to put down but I didn’t know exactly how hard it would be to put down!

From the first page, I was instantly pulled into the story. Even though a few passages ingrained murky images into my head, I couldn’t stop reading. Before I had realized it, I had gone a couple of hours without anything to eat or drink. I had a headache and my stomach was growling. Was I under a “spell” from the book that kept enticing me to read it without stopping?

Okay, maybe I am going a little overboard or exaggerating, but what I have read so far is really good. More than “good”. Better than “good”. It is one of the best books I have read since that week stint of reading the whole Twilight series. While I consider Twilight to be my #1 favorite book(s)(maybe because I am still young and can sympathize with the characters), Angels & Demons is right up there. It questions faith, you learn science without even realizing it, and you learn a lot about the world. I Googled a few items from the book just to see what further imformation there was on the subject. What I saw surprised, even shocked, me. Brown had down his research!

So will I review it after I had done reading it? You bet! Will I buy it to add to my permanent collection? Absolutely!
